We just wanted to let you know that it is business as usual at Power Developments.
We’d like to reassure our customers that we are taking strict procedures to keep everyone safe during this time.

The technicians will wear a fresh pair of gloves for each car, disinfect vehicles externally and internally in areas that we have had to contact (door handles, interior components etc) before AND after we have carried out any work.

Reception areas, door handles, card payment machine and other surfaces are being frequently disinfected.
We would like to emphasise the need for social distancing, so at this time we’d ask all customers to not wait whilst their vehicle is being worked on as this increases any risk for the company employees and other customers.
Our waiting area will no longer be available for the short term.
We will continue to be open for business for the foreseeable future so any customers with existing bookings Should see no change.

The customer had fitted the part, but couldn’t code it so the old part had to be fitted to extract coding data and then the new part installed a final time.
Once installed and coded, the sensor angle and stops are calibrated.

Mark’s X5 here for remedial work.
The car arrived with us with 3 snapped glow plugs in the engine, having been elsewhere before.
Mark had been told it’d need a new cylinder head to fix so best to ignore them and leave it alone. 🙄

After some careful extraction techniques with the intake manifold removed for access, the glow plugs have been successfully removed and fitted with new ones, all back to perfect working order. .
